The LSPD Safety Laser Scanner is based on two-dimensional optical scanning and ranging principles. It provides a two-dimensional inspection area with a maximum radius of 15m and an angle of 190 °.
The detection area includes a protection area and a warning area. It is possible to reliably detect that the maximum radius of the protected area is 4 m, and it is possible to reliably detect a dark object having a reflectance as low as 1.8%. The maximum radius of the warning zone is 15m, in which objects with a reflectivity greater than 20% can be reliably detected.
When a person or object enters the detection area, the scanner will send an alarm or stop signal.
The user can set the detection area to an arbitrarily complex and irregular shape according to the needs of the site.
